Horizon Heights

Skyscraper.. not quite, but high rise nonetheless. Brickworx Contracts Limited are proud to have completed the bricklaying package on this £55m 21 storey student accommodation for unite students adjacent Liverpool's Lime Street station.

The unique building comprises ground floor retail units and 1,085 beds in a mixture of cluster and studio flats. For this one we worked off mast climbers building an unusual sized brick (490x115x52mm), soilder course bands at slab levels, hanging brick, pistol brick, masonry support angle to carry brickwork drilled and fixed to reinforced concrete frame, tyvek, insulation and all other sundries associated with the bricklaying package.
