This £11.7 million community hub was built on the site of a former army barracks in North Belfast, this is a community and leisure building with a gym, sauna, mood showers, sports hall and conference venue, also offering education and cross community workshops.
Being the bricklaying subcontractor on this project we are pleased with it's overall modern aesthetic appeal - the architects daring, yet rewarding, use of facing brick internally, non 90 degree angles throughout, brick soffits, special bond panels and brick clad columns all work well and is a pleasant change from domestic dwellings...have a look at the photographs.
